The Zoological garden:Biggest zoo in India
In Kolkata is the biggest zoo in India which is named as the Zoological garden.It is constructed under the land of 100 acres. The zoo is situated on the Belverde road on the year 1876 .In this zoo lives a huge variety of animals, birds and reptiles.
This zoo is credited for bringing back the rare Manipur Brow Antlered Deer from near extinction.This zoo was first to have bred Giraffes and has produced Tigions, and Litigation as a cross breeding experiment.The very famous artificial lake of this zoo attracts number of migratory birds every year.
